An Introduction to the study

Thank you for taking the time to visit this website and learn more about the benefits to you and to the environment by managing food waste through the Bokashi Fermentation method.

Food waste recycling is often the most neglected form of recycling and can have a significant impact on our collective carbon footprint whilst also serving as a valuable source of soil enrichment.

I hope to use the information I have gathered through primary research using surveys and secondary research online, to inform the wider debate on domestic food waste management within the context of the UN Sustainable Development Goals; the focus of my International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (IB-MYP) Personal Project at North London Collegiate School, Dubai.
